"To meet the demand of increasing Air Travel in Prayagraj, Prayagraj Airport is upgraded and a new civil terminal has been build by Airports Authority of India, adjacent to the existing Central Air Command Air force base, Prayagraj. The new civil enclave includes a new Terminal Building (6690 square metres) with peak hour capacity of 300 passengers, an apron to park civil schedule flights, link taxi track and car parks with capacity of 200 cars/taxis. The cost of construction of the New Civil Terminal Airport is Approximately Rs. One Hundred Fifty Two Crores. "
