The Archaeological Department of Tamil Nadu maintains these monuments. Apart from the statue of Kattabomman, half size statue of Oomathurai, Thanathipathi Pillai, Sundaralingam and Vellaia Thevar are also found in the Memorial. There are seven arches in honour of Goddess Jakkamma from Kurukkusalai to the Fort. Festivals are held in the months of January and second week of May, when thousands of people gather here for the festival.
