It is the responsibility of the EMA to establish a data base of operators and aircraft or aircraft types approved by State authorities for PBN operations and, if necessary, for use of data link (ADSC/CPDLC) in the region from authorities responsible for issuing those approvals. Under the designated EMA concept, all States are associated with a specified EMA for the reporting of PBN and data link approvals.
